It has been a while since our last newsletter so we thought we
would start out with a review of what we do and why it matters. We are
always sending out samples and information on our new products, and if you
haven't received anything from us in a while, call for a new sample set.

The Kenaf flower blooms for only one dayKenaf (Hibiscus cannabinus L.) is a
fiber crop like hemp, grown by
farmers, that has economic and environmental
advantages over trees (and hemp) for
pulp and paper making.

coated and uncoated printing papers
Trees are the lungs of our planet. We
are cutting them faster that wise folks
would . Paper demand and consump-
tion are part of the reason. We believe
it is time for a change.
For ten years, Vision Paper has been
working to introduce kenaf into main-
stream printing applications. From

an idea, the com-
pany has grown
slowly but surely
and today uses
kenaf to produce
a line of some of
the highest quali-
ty coated and
uncoated printing
papers (the kind
used for annual
reports, maket-
ing communications, book publishing
and the like) that have been recognized
by the current White House Office of
Recycling as "Environmentally
Preferable" and "Biobased"
