In addition to the conference activities,
some members of the delegation managed to squeeze in a visit to the peace
memorial in Hiroshima. This "ground zero" experience was powerful beyond
words.
Vision Paper
Web Site Adds Library
We've added the past issues of the
Vision Paper News to our web site. We've also added some of the speeches
and technical papers presented by Vision Paper President Thomas Rymsza.
This online resource provides background information for those recently
exposed to the kenaf tree-free paper concept. Please check it out at www.visionpaper.com/Library2.htm
Vision Paper
Pulp Mill
Vision Paper has completed phase
1 of the engineering design for its first kenaf pulp mill. The mini-mill
is designed specifically for processing kenaf. It will be environmentally
clean, with no bad pulp mill smell, and no chlorine compounds used in
the pulping process. The resulting pulp will be competitively priced,
and suitable for a wide range of paper products. The company has begun
recruiting investors and evaluating potential sites in the U.S. for this
groundbreaking project. Stay tuned for further developments.
Letterhead and
Business Cards are Now Available
Vision Paper has teamed up with
Albuquerque's own Academy Printers to offer our customers a letterhead
business package that is readily available and economically priced. The
details can be found on our web site, or you can call our office and we
will fax or mail them to you. With only a few minutes of your time, you
can specify how your letterhead should look, what color ink you would
like, etc., and presto, within a few weeks you can be writing letters
on tree-free kenaf paper instead of using trees. Won't your friends and
business associates be impressed! We even supply the kenaf flower logo
at no additional charge.

Broken Cartons
Fix a Problem
Now that we have expanded our operations,
we are able to expand our product offerings to include 100% kenaf papers
in new sizes, such as 8 ½ x 11 60# cover stock (that runs through most
laser printers and copiers) and single reams and boxes of envelopes (500
#10 envelopes per box). Call for broken carton pricing, and watch our
web site for new product announcements.

Haiku
From You
Webster's says that haiku is an
unrhymed verse form of Japanese origin having three lines containing 5,
7 and 5 syllables respectively. Modern haiku doesn't follow the syllable
rules precisely, which allows for greater creativity. The key elements
seem to be brevity, including a reference to nature, and drawing a mental
picture, with brevity as the key.
An example:
Blowing snow forms drifts
The playground gate is frozen
Children know, no school
We are seeking Haikus that contains the word kenaf. Something like:
Kenaf and giraffe
African natives both tall
Natural wonders
Send us your Haiku before April
1st. All entries will be sent a packet of kenaf seeds, and a kenaf
writing pad. We may even print your submission in a future newsletter.
